Swedish Massage:

Massage technique know to all, if not many.  Pressure is light to medium.

Swedish Massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart.  

Benefits of Swedish massage goes beyond relaxation as it can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

Deep Tissue:

I offer Deep tissue in 2 degrees of intensity. 

The 2 options are: 

1) Deep   

2)  INTENSE (see below for details).

Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that's used to treat musculoskeletal issues such as strains and sports injuries.

The technique involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.

Pressure is deep and may cause soreness and bruising, depending upon the individual. 

Many people feel and believe they need and/or want deep tissue massage because the pain they feel is that deep within the body and light touch does not seem to help relieve their pain(s). 

Deep Tissue - INTENSE:

Charlene has created some focus work which addresses issues relating to the stresses and tension we hold in the  Glutes as well as the Upper regions of the body.  The upper region focus work includes the Neck, Shoulder, Upper Traps and Upper Spinal area. 

People have said that this work is DEEP & INTENSE hence the reason Charlene now offers the work in 2 different intensities.  Even though the work is deep to intense, clients have said that they feel lighter and freer within their bodies after doing this intense focus work.
